A Social Entrepreneur Takes on the Food Industry

By Nell Edgington

If you want to be outraged, inspired and spurred to action, the typical cocktail that gets social entrepreneurs going in the morning, take a look at Robyn O’Brien’s TEDxAustin talk from earlier this year. Author of the book The Unhealthy Truth: How Our Food is Making Us Sick, she is a social entrepreneur determined to change the amount of chemicals and genetically engineered food that American’s eat. The video chronicles the journey she took from a typical suburban mom to a crusader for healthier food for our children.
