I know how scared you sometimes get.
I see you tossing and turning in the middle of the night, terrified about how you will make payroll.
Or worried that you will never attract truly helpful board members.
Or working 80 hour weeks because you fear no one else will help.
Or anxious to check your social media feed in case the next looming crisis has hit.
Or holding your tongue when a funder says something ridiculous because you worry it might jeopardize their funding.
I see you because I know how hard it is to be a social change leader in a world gone mad.
But here’s the thing. You don’t have to go it alone. There is enormous strength and peace when you simply ask for help — for advice, for guidance, for new ideas, for inspiration.
And because I want to introduce you to the power of asking for that help, I’m really excited to offer a few of you tireless social change warriors a free Strategic Advising session with me.
What is Strategic Advising you ask?
Strategic Advising is essentially having someone in your corner to advise you, guide you, share the burden of the social change work.
It’s someone to help answer your biggest questions, like:
- How do I raise more money?
- How do I motivate my board to be helpful, not distracting?
- How do I tell my funders what I really need?
- How do I prioritize the million things on my list?
- How do I structure and motivate my staff?
- How do I find joy in the work again?
When I act as a Strategic Advisor to a client, we work one-on-one over the course of 6 — 12 months to figure out what’s holding them and their organization back from all the abundance that’s waiting for them. We strategize how to grow their board, raise more money, strengthen their partnerships, grow their political influence — whatever it will take to achieve their mission.
But signing on for a full Strategic Advising engagement is a huge leap of faith, particularly for social change leaders who believe that scarcity is all there is. And because I see so many of you struggling and needing help — but believing that help is not accessible to you — I want to flip that script for you.
I want to lower the barrier to help for you. So, I am offering a few social change leaders an hour-long, one-on-one Strategic Advising session with me. While we won’t come close to solving all of your problems in that hour, I promise that you will leave our hour together energized, inspired and full of new ideas and approaches.
So, if you want to be considered for one of the free Strategic Advising sessions, apply here. I will personally read every application and pick a few of the most compelling applicants. And just so you know, I’m looking for people who are:
- Willing to do some self reflection
- Interested in asking hard questions
- Open to new approaches
- Willing to allow in abundance
So, if you are ready to reach for the help you need, apply here.
